20’s Plenty –Campaigning to make the Borough’s Roads Safer

The Conservative Action Team recognises that speeding traffic in residential areas is a major concern for residents and their families.

Conservatives across Wirral have launched a campaign aimed at lowering traffic speeds in residential areas.

Heading the initiative is West Kirby & Thurstaston Ward Councillor Jeff Green, who is also Cabinet Member for Transportation.

20’s Plenty is a common sense idea and would make a dramatic difference to road safety. Not only would our streets become living streets but parents and children walking to school would be so much safer.

If your lives are blighted by inconsiderate motorists travelling faster than appropriate please register with us and send us your views.

Cllr Jeff Green said “I want to hear from the Mums and Dads, the teachers and even the young people themselves whose lives are blighted by speed. If their case is good enough then it is down to the Council in conjunction with the Government to say 20’s plenty”

Register with our campaign to make our roads safer by clicking the contact box at the top of the page.
