Jeff Green Conservative Councillor for West Kirby & Thurstaston ward.

Jeff has been a Councillor since 1986. Following boundary changes he now represents West Kirby and Thurstaston Ward which includes the communities of West Kirby, Caldy, Grange, Newton and Thurstaston.

He is the Leader of the Conservative Group on Wirral Borough Council and is a member of the Council’s Executive which, with the exception of planning matters, has the responsibility to make all decisions relating to Wirral Borough Council activity.

Jeff is an active member of all sorts of council committees including Wirral’s Local Strategic Partnership which brings together Wirral’s voluntary groups, Government Departments, Police and the local NHS but he particularly enjoys his roles as chairman of the Hilbre Island Management Committee and Governor of Dawpool CE Primary and West Kirby Grammar School.

Together with Esther McVey and his fellow Ward Councillors, David Elderton and Geoffrey Watt Jeff is a key member of the West Kirby and Thurstaston Action Team.

Jeff has lived in Wirral all of his life. He is married to Carol and has two beautiful children, Emma and Megan.
