For the 2010 local Elections, Hoylake and Meols Conservatives have chosen local resident Eddie Boult as the candidate.
The Ward includes Parkfields, Meols, Hoylake and central West Kirby. The boundary runs from the coast at Parkfields to Oldfield Farm, along the ‘Lanes’ and across the fields to the railway along side Meols Drive. The Ward boundary lies along the railway, up Grange Hill to the Wirral Way. The Wirral Way and Church Road mark the southern boundary of central West Kirby.
The Ward has two Conservative Councillors. Gerry Ellis was elected 2007 and is the Conservative candidate in 2007. John Hale was elected in 2008.
The Ward has three branches, West Kirby Park, Hoylake and Meols. All three branches have very active social programs. The branches also have a large number of politically active members. New members are always welcome no matter how politically active they wish to become.
