| Wirral West Conservatives smash
Labour in its heartland!
Wirral West
Conservatives took over 50% of the vote in the local
council elections held on 1st May.
Upton:
After much hard work, Tom Anderson and the local
action team won Upton Ward. Congratulations go to
Tom who really deserved to win against this
faltering Labour government and their local Lib Dem-
Labour councillor supporters. Tom has shown that he
cares about Upton and is determined to improve its
neglected areas and ensure that council tax payers
money is spent in the right places.
Greasby Frankby & Irby:
Living in the centre of the ward, hard working
candidate, Wendy Clements gave the sitting Lib Dem
cabinet member and Labour supporter, Gill Gardiner,
a serious shock by reducing her majority from a high
676 to a marginal 75. Congratulations go to Wendy on
increasing the Conservative vote from 34% to 43%.
Pensby, Thingwall & Barnston:
A hard fought campaign resulted in John Meyer
reducing the Lib Dem majority by almost a hundred
votes. John and his Conservative action team have
worked hard to show how inadequate the LibLab Wirral
Council is.
Hoylake & Meols: We congratulate long serving
Conservative Councillor John Hale on his re-election
with a very healthy majority of 2086
West Kirby & Thurstaston:
Cllr Geoffrey Watt was also re-elected taking over
64% of the vote in the ward.
Wirral West is on a roll; why not join us and help
get this incompetent, dithering Labour government
out……….Time for a Change! |
