Welcome to West Kirby & Thurstaston Ward.

The Ward takes in Caldy, Grange and Newton along with part of West Kirby. The northern boundary with Hoylake runs from the shore, along Church Road, to the Wirral Way. The boundary runs north to Grange Hill, down to the station and along the railway line then across the fields beyond Greenbank Road.

For more detail see 'Election Maps' http://www.election-maps.co.uk/formFrame.htm

The Ward has three Conservative Councillors. Jeff Green, Conservative Group Leader, was elected in 2005. David Elderton was elected 2004 and is the Conservative candidate in 2007. Geoffrey Watt was elected in 2004.

The Ward has two branches, West Kirby and Caldy. Both branches have a very active social program as well as having a number of political activists. New members are always welcome no matter how politically active they wish to become.
